Dirty ol’ man is Win.

So I was at McD’s today with Mari, and 2 of our friends. As we were leaving, our one friend, Let’s call her “pika” backed into an old man whom appeared to be mid 70’s.

She of course apologised, to which he responded “don’t worry, I liked it”
Shocked disbeleif was our first reaction, followed by uproarious laughter.

This was all fine and good, so we continued to a grocery store to buy stuffs for the home. While walking, Mari asks Pika, “have you washed those pants since the last time I did?” See Mari washed Pika’s pants 3 WEEKS ago. The answer was of course ye… Wait it was No. Her reasoning beong “I only just bought underwear”

You’re going commando?!?! Was my first thought. Thankfully this wasn’t the case, she mearly meant pants were the next to be purchased… So Pika only wears pants till they are dirty and gets new ones?? I hate laundry too but that’s a bit much. Thankfully this wasn’t the case, although I still don’t understand why any of this causes one not to wash pants.

In other news, its new years eve, 2011 is upon us. Life has had me rather busy all of 2010 so I never got a chance to update y’all. Now that I can update from my blackberry, expect more frequent updates.

Movin on over to WordPress

So it appears Windows Live services has decided to migrate the “spaces” service to WordPress.  Well i see some pro’s and cons to my PERSONAL Blogging life due to this.

CON. My blog looked so smexy before.. now i have to reshuffle everything, make a new color scheme, so much work to make it look nice on my wonderful publics eyes.

PRO. Since my wonderous crackberry has a wordpress app, I can blog on the go.  No longer will my random thoughts whilst enroute from one adventure to another be lost in the ether of my mind. This opens up all new possibilities of chaotic joy that is my weblog.

I look forward to playing with this 😀

I’m Watching You!

So – This blog has a nifty toy I found.

Today’s Blog Entry comes from the sheer boredom i feel over the past 6 minutes.  My Brain is currently smoldering from spending a night on turbo mode, and I’m giving myself a few minutes of Recoup time. What better way to recoup – then to ramble!!!
 
Speaking of Ramble, i am reminded of a character, based on my "Heroic" mindset, in a story a freind wrote that was tenitivly titled, Rolling on with no Point"  or ROWNP for short.  My character, seemed immune to the flirting of the evil female character – making me the ideal hero. I also was remembering events from this story yesterday – where everyone in the story, aside from myself and the main protagonist, were transformned into chibi’s
 
Chibi’s, theres a fun one.  So the big scary monstrosity known as loki, has apparently gotten soft.  He was referanced as being much like a chibi.  A Chibi, Me, I mean Common!   I used to eat the toughest people in town for breakfast, and now im an over-adorkable-soft-mega-plush chibi!  The irony of this, is when i was refered to as that, i noticed my behaviour was very similar to ed elric in one of his "Im not Short" rants… only it was an Im not Chibi Rant…

This being realized…  I AM turning into a Chibi.   Could be worse… at least im not turning into an emo kid!
 
Well – Im done my 15 minutes of Mental Vegging, I should turn the brain back on overdrive, and begin the epic workings.

It’s a Kinda Magic

Mm ba ba de….. Um bum ba de…… Um bu bu bum da de

So Last night, was another Grand Night of Karaoke! there was much craziness to be had. There were some new faces, some old, and alot of music i otherwise wouldnt have attempted.  many People sang songs of fun, but heres what i sang.

1: Material Girl (Duet – Hilarity did ensue)
2: I will do Anything for Love (Duet – The dude singing the female parts for me – Epicley Awesome)
3: Bohemian Rhapsody (Trio – Very much fun! apparently im a Mic Hog when i sing high notes….)
3: Under Pressure (Another Trio – I sang the Freddie Mercury Parts.. Kinda…. the first Half of the song, The "Bowie" singer and i had the parts mixed up – so i sang Bowie Parts – in the Key of Mercury, and he sang Mercury’s Parts in Bowie’s Range…   then we figured it out and it went awesome from there)
4: Bed Of roses (Solo – Sang to a pretty lady in the audience – she probably didnt notice though.  Then someone jumped on stage and gave me a purple nurple mid verse…  I had to bite back the Laughter)
5: Kiss from a Rose (Solo – Wow i sucked ass!  I couldnt remember the pitch AT ALL)

Aside from the Karaoke. not much else new happened that is worth reporting.  There was a Minor influx of Zombies here in town, but that only lasted untill it started snowing and they got cold.  being undead means you are no longer warm blooded ^_^

All in All – A wonderful night, amist a mundane day.

Warm Faries are broken!

Hello oh faithful minions!
 
Have you ever noticed in western art, specifically comic book related, Men are always drawn as preppy, and very square.. Women, always have flowy hair, and look OVERLY feminine?
I ran into this issue yesterday – when i was charged with the task of finding a feminine looking long haired male comic character, that didnt have a mask.  (4 hours later) HOLY CRAPCAKES!!!
Salvation was found when i saw an old "Star Wars" book cover, which is done in a western style.  I couldnt find a feminine malke, but i found a reasonably masculine chick! Luke Skywalkers Wife, whos name escapes me at the moment. So for the purposes of this blog, she is miss skywalker.
However, in the defense of western art – at least sex isnt questioned with almost EVERY character.  So many anime males, look more female, then alot of females i know personally.
 
Now i bet your all thinking, wtf does that have to do with a warm farie thats broken, let alone several warm faries…
If this is the case, then excellent *raps fingers together* my master plan of confusion is working.
 
But, since you do take the time to read my ramblings, i’ll be fair.  The Warm Faries are in relation to work.
Im here today, earlier than desired, becausre things got a tad warm.  AC rebooted – everythings hunkey dory. This was the warm
The faries, well i see faries everywhere….  no not really.
 
I was having some headbutting with our Pre-Executable Environment, or PXE, last week… PXE sounded out, is Pixy….And it was – giving me enough headaches to be classified as broken.   Since i was here early – i fixed it good.
 
I really need more caffiene..  brb
 
*5 minutes passes*
 
I have returned!  with a can of Jolt…
Nothing special really – but its better than nothing.  Today is another day where im glad i keep overnight supplies handy – I was in such a rush to get to work – i forgot to put on a dress shirt, forgot to brush my hair…   but no worries – the backpack of wonders and might… also coincidently the carrier of the mighty laptop, had a clean dress shirt, AND a brush!
 
Oh god – i have a meeting in 58 minutes!  I totally forgot!..  If i didnt get woke up at 6 am to come to work – i would have totally forgot…
Sometimes Life loves me!  And so does the Shift key with its Random Capitol letters.
 
Well – 55 minutes now..   No it didnt take me 3 minutes to Type that small blurb – i am doing more than JUST entering info into this.  Yanno, being at work and all.
 
brb again…. which since there is no measure of time in this text – i guess i dont really NEED to say, but i will anyways…

And im Back….  For those who are unaware of the passage of time, that was about 10 minutes.
 
*yawn*  i SO need a nap.
 
 
So who here has heard of twitter?  its some like… miniblog thinger..  lets people put small updates.  i see it on alot of webcomic’s. its what the artists tend to use to keep readers posted – I had to check it out.
 
Its kinda…. lame…  but thats probably because i have no friends on it. I’ll keep testing it and provide feedback on the next blog entry. 
 
Oh! Remember how i wasnt at peak performance levels on December 30th?  Well thanks to the wonders of an immune system that kicks some Serious ass! i was back to 100% before the night of the 31st, and had an AWESOME new years eve.  Probably one of my best ever!
 
Im off however to ingest more caffene, and attempt to increase adrenaline levels enough to maintain normal functionality through the upcomming meetings.

Sleep Deprivation…. ftw??

Sleep Deprivation sucks sometimes.  But the best part of laying awake all night, staring at the ceiling, induced daydreams.  When you daydream – ususally its noisy around you, and something snaps you out of it…  But when in a dead silent living room, there is no distractions to pull you out of the daydream-like-state.  Absolutely wonderful.
 
Not so wonderful is when your body finally decides "Ok, you can sleep now" and you are all, Aaaah, sleep *look at time* crap – now i have to get up…
 
Needless to say – im a tad sleep deprived this morning, and after a very cold Set of three jogs, totalling about 5km, in sub-zero temperatures, my body is revolting against me.  Little White blood cells picketing while some flu bug is running rampant.
 
So my New Years – Doesnt look too promising if im bedridden.
 
What else has been going on in the Life of Loki.  Loki has a few new friends.
Theres Sirus, Nex, Kira, Data, Edwin, Francis, Blue, Loki, and Paul.  the 9 of us combined make one powerful superteam!
And Loki has aquired 2 new blades… Thanatos, a Razor edged Katana, and Hypnos, A Blunt Katana.

It’s Getting Hot in Here

Todays Subject line, comes to you courtesy of equipment running way too hot setting off e-mail alarms that fill my inbox faster than an avalanche.
this being said, an actual avalanche would of course cool the equipment, which would negate the filling inbox. 
 
Totally unrelated statement, having nothing to do with the remainder of the blog, Taboozing…   Tubing, on a snow covered hill, with booze, a new statement that i never heard prior to today – and likely never will again. As such – it must be documented.
 
So this week – i pulled off that which was said to be impossible. I Built a PC than can do everything needed here at work, short of slicing bread, and letting me chill with people more than i already do.  The student has surpassed the mentor. Bwahahahaa
 
I was warned today, to beware the power of stupid people in large groups – brilliant advice.
 
And im noticing, rather than having the rambling, and this reminds me of that flow, this is a post of random facts. My creativity has certainly taken a hit.
 
Shanking fellows at work is good fun – shank shank shank, shank shank shank, shanking the organs.
 
Well – since this is really really a dry entry today – im going to end it.

Subjective Subjectivity (I think i’ve used this subject line enough today)

Subjectivly Subjective in regards to the Subjectivity of Subjectiveness… Isnt the english language grands? entire sentances , nonsensical as they may be, stemmed from a single word, extrapolated upon, with a few tie in words… 
 
On to the blog for today… this month.. this tri-mester?   It would appear my bloggin has become very laxed over the past year or 2 – and each blog i find myself thinking or commenting on this.   Well it must stop!  The new year – me resolution is at least 1 blog a month.  thats right – and its now on the interwebs – as such it must be true!
 
Whats new in the life of Loki?
Lets start from the beginning… Last entry was August – and much has happened since!
 
First – I found a strange notebook in the rain one night…   I picked it up, due to my insatiable curiosity, and opened it to begin reading.  I was somewhat hoping it to be a magical notebook, of a death god, that gave me power to change the world in my image…  Alas – all it was, was soggy, wet, and falling apart.
 
Out of curiosity however, realizing maybe magical death books are not water resistant, i took it home and started writing names.  Broccoli, Celerey, Tomato.  Alas, the damn vegitables survived, my notebook was a fraud. 
 
The next in the list of wonderful adventures, was back in october.  I ate Turkey, and it was good. ah the nobel turkey, giving its life, so we can eat, and be merry.  They gobble their last gobble. In tribute, we gobble them.
 
I Take pause for a moment, and realized that right now – I dont feel as insane as normal. My random typing is nowhere near as entertaining as it ususally is.  Well not as fun crazy insane, more, blah insane..  Damn blah insanies!  They strip me of my creative jucies!  The are like kryptonite, in sponge form!
 
Speaking of Sponges, have you ever wondered, if in 10 years, spongebob will be to adults then, as the ninja turtles and ghostbusters are to us now? Just the other day i saw someone with a mean looking Leonardo Tattoo  on his bicep – it was pretty cook surprisingly.  But i really cant see big tough guy’s with "Spongebob Square Pants"  on their arm..  Unless he was all muscled out, and had an anchor tattoo on HIS arm..   Dude!  A Spongebob Popeye Hybrid, that would be Epic!
 
Oh and on the Topic of Ghostbusters!  i hear theres a new Ghostbusters game! <- Clicky for site Still in the making, but epic sounding nonetheless. O_O  And through my once again insatiable curiosity – i have made anotehr discovery..
 
According to our source all four Ghostbusters — Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson — have agreed to return to the franchise. A few years ago that would have been downright unbelievable, but considering they all just got back into their roles for the Ghostbusters videogame, it’s more than plausible that they’d do it on-camera one more time.
 
Now here’s the really interesting part; though not much is known about the plot, apparently the ‘Busters will be handing over their proton packs to Seth Rogan and the crew from 40 Year Old Virgin! Some may roll their eyes at this, but think about it; these guys are doing the same thing Murray, Ramis, Ivan Reitman, John Candy and their whole crew did back in the 80’s, churning out comedy after comedy, so it makes sense they’d take over these reins as well.
 
Oh My God… i think i am not wet with anticipation…   and urine…   no, nevermind, its just anticipation.  I just cant Oh my God this one enough. 
 
So in recognition of this momentous event.. 
 
 
WOOHOO!!!
 
The rest of whats happened the past few months – shall have to wait for a new blog – leave me something to write about then.

Just aint what they used to be.

Lets be serious here folks.. and take a moment t leave the world of my inner-insanity, and return to the real world.  The real world of Video Games. Sure, there are new systems, new technologies, new beautiful artwork..   but, the WOW factor of new developments just isnt there.  Think back to when Nintendo First launched the N64.   Mario, in Full 3d,  OMG!  Even further back, to the first consoles.  Games, on your TV…  
 
The Video game industry, has gone from remarkable leaps and bounds, to a stagnant media war. And this war has people feuding.   Once upon a time, Sega or nintendo, it didnt matter, they were both awesome.  Today, people are "Picking Teams"  they either Support X-box, and flame everyone eles, or they are wii-people, and feel the controller is too limiting.  Or they are Anti-Xbox, and Anti-ring of fire people, who stick with their PS3’s…   Its sad, truley sad.

HA, HA…I’M THE FRIKKIN’ WALRUS

Today, in my general perusal of the world wide web, i discovered a grand webcomic. The webcomic, was about a comic artist.   Cliché, perhaps.  But nontheless a decent story.   What really caught me however, was a Character, whom seems to have a loathing for conforming with society, and has a massive lust for coffee, or caffiene in general.  I read this and thought…  I Like Caffiene.

Some old information on the technology front.  I have been granted sight once again! Thats right, the near blind ninja, ruler of all that lies before him, has undergone an operation which allowed my eyes to work.  This being said- my other senses, such as hearing are off.  If my enemies catch wind of this, they may realize im wayoff on my general perception level, and now would be the time to strike.  Thankfully all my enemies have been shipped to a distant galaxy.. or have they DUN DUUUUN!!!!
 
I journeyed to the Big apple,  and although a brilliant vacation, i did not see spiderman, nor could i find Stark towers. I do however believe i saw a ninja turtle, either that or an old man…
 
In other news… my Intergalactic Corporation is growing in popularity, or infamy.  If you wish to join the ranks, and bring the galaxy of new eden under our grasp – join me in Eve… and together we shall rule!!
 
So to wrap things up – remember to wrap it up!  This world doesnt need you to add to its gene pool ^_^
